COUNSELING SUPPORT FOR NMBA PASTORS AND WIVES.
We know ministering in these days can be tremendously stressful! To assist pastors and wives in their ministry to the hurting in our state Illinois Baptist State Association and Baptist Family Services provides up to six counseling session per year for ever pastor and wife at no cost to you. IBSA Retreat Centers: Come away and rest for a while. Below is a list of pastor retreats where pastors and their wives can go to experience a time of refreshment in their walk with Christ.

OTHER RETREAT PLACES FOR PASTORS AND WIVES:
Sabbath Rest Retreat Center located in Southeast Missouri 40 miles southwest of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Check out the cabin you can reserve for up to 5 nights. Cost is 40 per night. It comes fully equipped with food and refreshments. I have used this for one entire week last winter. Great place to spend time with our King Jesus.
PASTOR CARE GROUPS AND COHORTS
CARE GROUPS: We are starting up regular pastor care groups and cohorts to help our Nine Mile Pastors stay healthy and strong in their ministering the gospel to heir area assignments.
PASTOR COHORTS: Cohorts are designed to provide specific equipping for our pastors in the areas they have expressed a need for equipping. These meet on as needed basis.
MEALS ON US
If you just need someone to talk with about your ministry pressures call our Pastoral Care Pastor Phil Nelson at 618-201-9204. He will be glad to treat you to a meal at the restaurant of your choosing and provide support for any Nine Mile Association Pastor or staff member.
